Griptec splice, the only rebar splice product that proof-tests during the bar preparation

Griptec splice is a full performance (tension, compression, cyclic, fatigue) rebar mechanical rebar splice designed for the connection of concrete reinforcing bars grade 60 in size #4 through # 18 and  grade 500 in sizes 12 through 50.

Each and every connection of Griptec splice is proof-tested by pull test during the extrusion cycle with no reduction of the nominal cross section area of the bar.  A standard parallel thread is used to connect the two sleeves, thus avoiding torque wrenching.  All sleeves are individually marked allowing full traceability of material origin and manufacturing batch.
