Testing Facilities
Independent laboratory
An independently accredited material testing laboratory, accredited to ISO-IEC 17025, is located at Dextra’s main Bangkok factory, allowing the testing of material and products. This laboratory is supported by several workshops, one of which contains all Dextra rebar end processing equipment, which allows all of our rebar coupler systems to be systematically tested. In addition, for testing purposes, Dextra maintains a stock of certified rebar of different diameters and from a broad range of different country/regional standards.
In order to perform our continuous quality control, Dextra material testing lab is equipped with the following modern testing devices:
- 2,000 kN Universal tensile testing machine x 2 units
- 1000 kN Dynamic testing machine
- Rockwell & Vicker Hardness tester
- Ultrasonic tester (UT)
- Dye penetrant test (PT)
- Profile projector
