New CAD/BIM components of tension rods are available for AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla.

We are excited to announce that a wide range of Dextra ground engineering solutions is now available in the Rocscience programs Slide2, Slide3, RS2 and RS3.

The Imperial College London tested Dextra Bartec/Fortec and Griptec couplers at elevated temperatures to evaluate how the couplers would perform in case of a fire.

New CAD/BIM components of Unitec couplers are now available for AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla. Unitec® is a bolted splicing system used in repair works for the connection of two rebars which haven’t been previously prepared (that is, no threads).

We are pleased to announce the release of the Headed Bar Calculation Tool, available for Bartec/Fortec, Griptec and Rolltec product ranges. This document will allow designers to easily calculate the minimum edge and spacing requirements, confinement reinforcement and if necessary, rebar bond contribution for Dextra headed bars.

We are very pleased to announce that Dextra won "Best Innovative Product of the Year – Groutec Coupler for Precast" at the ceremony of the CIA World Builders & Building Materials Awards in India.

New CAD/BIM components of weldable couplers are available for AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla. Weldable couplers are used for composite construction where concrete reinforcement bars must be welded to structural steel.

Large-scale beam-column tests incorporating Bartec/Fortec and Griptec couplers located at the expected plastic hinge zone, together with un-spliced rebar specimens, have been performed under loading simulating seismic load conditions.

To facilitate the design of your project on AutoDesk Revit 2017 and later versions, Dextra has recently released its Tension Bar product family. Being intuitive and easy-to-use tools, designers and drafters will easily get a clear view of their final design.

Are you familiar with the Groutec sleeve system? Groutec is Dextra main precast connection solution. It consists of a sleeve fixed onto the reinforcement inside the precast element thanks to a threaded connection.
